Global Community

Ecuador Proves The Genius of a Global Learning Community…

The room was filled with creative energy as fabric, paper, buttons, glue and scissors came together creating prototypes from every business sector. It was an entrepreneur's dream!  The Latin trainers had managed to bring the heads and the hearts of the entrepreneurs together in a moment of  imagination that primed the room for some truly compelling pitches.  It was their innovation to the curriculum that made all the difference.

Being part of a global learning community means sharing experiences and expertise with other global partners. As local partners learn from and with one another, they improve content and training, create new international relationships, and ultimately better serve their communities.

That’s a resource that never gets old.

The Goal: ENTREPRENEURIAL COMMUNITY

The Lean Start Entrepreneur Program is designed to help meet the needs of the underserved through cultivating a thriving entrepreneurial community that creates jobs, while catalyzing lasting economic, social, and spiritual transformation. Generally, training cycles run 6-10 months with graduates maintaining connection after their program as part of an ongoing community.

Initially, the program focuses on the development of a business incubator or accelerator that creates jobs through the launch of entrepreneurial ventures. Typical programs follow the following path:

Step 1: Identify key stakeholders and partners and design a culturally appropriate program

Step 2: Bring together and begin to train local business mentors

Step 3: Bring together and begin to train and support entrepreneurs in the start and growth of businesses.
Entrepreneurs meet regularly with business mentors who provide coaching and business guidance.
