Equipping Kenyan families to build businesses that last

Hope Ventures and Milele International are partnering to bring business training and coaching to families in Milele's community in Kenya.

The Need

Many families in Milele's community live with unpredictable income. When money is inconsistent, school fees and basic needs go unmet.

These parents, guardians, and graduates are capable and hardworking. What they need is training, practical tools, and a clear path from idea to income.

The Opportunity

The Milele Business Development Initiative helps local entrepreneurs start and grow sustainable businesses. The goal is steady income, independence, and a stronger community, built one entrepreneur at a time.

Phase 1: listen, train, and plan

Community assessment

Two days on the ground to understand the local economy, spot real business opportunities, and learn from Milele's existing work.

3-day business training

Two Hope Ventures trainers lead a workshop taught in Swahili, using stories, visuals, and examples from daily life. Every participant leaves with a personal action plan.

Program design

What we learn shapes a roadmap for Phase 2: a longer path with ongoing training and an entrepreneurial association.

Built together

Milele brings deep community relationships, local staff, and interpretation. Hope Ventures brings training, coaching, and curriculum. Phase 2 will be shaped side by side.

Give the gift of opportunity

Gifts of every size help bring training to Kenyan entrepreneurs and lay the groundwork for what comes next. Your support turns a good idea into a business that feeds a family.
