Through Hope Ventures' partnership with Love My Neighbor, 60 entrepreneurs across Freetown and Madina completed an 18-module discipleship-based curriculum alongside business training and micro-loans. One year later, the data tells an encouraging story.

Entrepreneurs used their loans to expand business inventory, for example, purchasing seeds to support their farming initiatives. What stands out most to us isn’t solely the income changes. What is more amazing is that 100% of graduates report feeling connected to God in their daily work and hopeful about their future.

Also in Sierra Leone: Rescue the Suffering
This spring, Hope Ventures Africa Director Tendai Kashangura traveled to Sierra Leone to launch Business Associations in Freetown and Gbendembu — communities 130 miles apart. Twenty-one entrepreneurs are now organized, saving together, and accessing their first business loans. A revolving loan fund means that as one entrepreneur repays, another gets their chance. The work is just beginning — and it's already multiplying.
"Prior to the RTS training, my dressmaking business operated with very few customers and no system for tracking production, sales, income, or expenditure. I had no clear picture of my business's financial health or growth. The training transformed that entirely. What was once a struggling one-person enterprise is now a small, growing training and production center, a direct fruit of the knowledge and tools provided through the RTS program."
