Hope Is Growing in Ecuador: A Life Farm Update

At Hope Ventures, we partner with local leaders to empower families through entrepreneurship. In Ecuador, that partner is Pan de Vida, and thanks to your support, incredible progress is unfolding.

Here’s what you’ve made possible this quarter:

• 27 new Life Farms launched, giving families tools to grow food and income

• Seed banks, compost units, and hydroponic pastures expanded across communities

• 90 technical visits to help families care for and improve their farms

• Training for 100+ participants in farming, nutrition, and business

We also helped launch the first Shark Tank Pan de Vida, where local entrepreneurs pitched business ideas. Winners received in-kind prizes to grow their ventures—like Eliceth, who now sells traditional smoked cheese to support her family.

Even organizations like Samaritan’s Purse are taking notice—inviting Pan de Vida to share this model with others across Latin America.
